My Approach

Every event is unique, and this is reflected in the service Erik Wood Creative Events provides, built on a proven formula based on years of experience. My aim is to ensure my clients have as much or as little involvement as they wish.

The first step is to get to know you – the more I can understand about your organisation, you as an individual and your target audience for your event, the better. Not just the facts and figures, but a real insight into the culture and philosophy of your organisation.

Next, I will sit down with you and take a detailed brief. Typically, I’m looking for answers to three key questions:

What do you want to say?

- Company announcements
- Updates
- New products
- Staff recognition
- Management meetings

Who do you want to say it to?

- Internal or external clients
- Senior Managers
- Sales teams
- Media
- Operational staff
- General public
- Industry
- Peer groups

How do you want to say it?

- Small meeting
- Staged conference
- Exhibition
- Gala dinner
- Awards ceremony

With the above questions answered, I can determine any other relevant support required, whether it’s video production, audience interactivity, entertainment or professional host presenters.

Once we have agreed the concepts and design, we move into the pre-production phase creating and/or sourcing all the relevant support for the event. We will agree a full timing plan together with the venue to cover all aspects of the build and operation of your event. Throughout the pre-production process, we will meet regularly to share visual concepts and storyboards so that you are fully informed every step of the way.

When we get to the actual event, Erik Wood Creative Events team and our attention to detail will ensure the set-up is completed exactly as agreed and on time. A final briefing between the team and your staff helps ensure everyone knows exactly what is happening and when.

The Erik Wood Creative Events team will be on-site throughout the event to ensure everything runs smoothly so that you can relax, confident in the knowledge that the production of your event is in safe hands.

Whenever possible, a shared post-event evaluation helps ensure key learning is captured for any future events we may work on together.
